Job Title: Product Development Project Manager
This position supports product development strategy and coordinates new product activities designed for business growth. This position will organize, manage and report status of products development activities from initial conception to product launch. The Product Development Project Manager leads project initiatives and develops and implements improvements to facilitate long-term business growth through new product offerings.

Essential Functions Include:
- Review and investigate new business opportunities providing evaluative reports and recommendations for methodology, suppliers, laboratories and contract manufacturers to facilitate strategic decisions;
- Receive proposed new projects from management and draft project proposals, contractual agreements, and negotiating and closing contracts with corporate officer approval;
- Assemble and lead project teams, assigning and managing responsibilities, project plans, timelines and tasks;
- Collaborate with key internal and external personnel, including outside consultants, to create a cohesive vision of project requirements, actions and goals;
- Schedule, organize and lead project meetings by setting agenda, defining action items and facilitating follow up;
- Act as liaison between X-GEN management, staff, trading partners, manufacturing partners, suppliers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project plan and federal regulations;
- Perform scientific, regulatory and technical research and engage QA, RA and outside consultants to ensure project compliance with Quality and Regulatory standards and procedures
- Manage working knowledge of Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Assurance (QA) and Good Manufacturing Practices of X-GEN through in-house training with RA and QA.
- Monitor and investigate change in the regulatory environment through direct interaction with internal departments, regulatory agencies, industry seminars, and through other means to assess the impact on project initiatives.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree plus five years of applicable business experience or equivalent experience is required. Certified Project Management (CPM) a plus
